Most important: make sure bonjour is installed for your os. This is a great idea. But needs more than transport and arranger. Would be nice to see control room remote control. That way you could control volume.

This made feel a lot better about going with Cubase rather than other DAWs (look up how much the Protools remote costs...). I now dont have to edit out the recording of me running 2 rooms away to my piano after hitting the red button. I had a really roughy time getting it to work at first after following all of the instructions correctly, and that was frustrating. In my case, I just needed to disconnect my (trendmicro) firewall for a second then everything worked.

I took sometime and an email to Steinberg to get the SKI to load and be recognized on my laptop. It worked for one session now the app on the IPhone keeps locking up. I have deleted and reloaded it to no avail. Too bad this app doesnt lice up to its potential.

Does it work with le 5??

Its been helpful for me to record from the booth when Im alone (Cubase 5.5.3) but I cant use it on Cubase 6-64bit. Maybe more users should communicate this to Steinberg directly. I know I will.

Works with Cubase 6. Transport starts and stops my main machine as advertised-though the time display doesnt always track properly. Cant arm tracks. Primary use for this app would be for a composer/musician working alone who needs to track away from the controls (i.e. a vocal booth or drum set).

Really useful app! Works with Cubase 5 and 6. Using it to record my vocal from the vocal booth. Some additional controls would be great to have in the future updates but so far so good!

Upgraded to 64bit Cubase and this isnt compatible. :(

Wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work. Still no luck. Very little documantation for setup issues. SKI shows in Device Setup and Apple "Remote" app works fine for controlling itunes so I think Ive got everything lined up. Ive been troubleshooting all manner of computer building, os setup, DAW problems for over 10 years so I think it should a bit easier than this if the average musician is going to have a chance unless you just happen to luck into the perfect setup. Tried it in cubase 6 32 bit and 64 bit. windows 7. I suspect the only people getting this to work are on Macs.

This app works very good of u know what u r doing. First install app on iPod or ipad, second install new device in device setup, third disable firewall or open a port for this 2 work, forth make sure always and this is very important, that the app is started on iPod or ipad, before starting up cubase, this the only way cubase will see the app, if u start app after cubase is started, app will hang or crash. Step 2 u will only have 2 do that once. Steinberg needs 2 fix that connection problem and I would like them to add more features like punch in&out. A way 2 select different tracks, just add more stuff. I love this app and works on win7 64bit, it work only if the app is start first before clicking on the cubase icon.

I recently upgraded to Cubase 7 (64 bit) and the cubase ic stopped working. Can no longer find host. Worked fine on cubase 6.5 (64 bit). Hopefully theyll get this worked out. When it did work it was really cool.

Just used it last night with Cubase 7. Good work developers, looking forward to seeing new features!

Just installed it to use with cubase7.5 running on windows 7 as per the instructions and it doesnt work. Great idea though!

Cubase iC ran fine with my older 4s and CUbase 5 on w7x64. Even runs fine with Technical Preview build 9879. But now that I have a 6 Plus, it wont open. But it does let me install the app at least. So thats nice.

Doesnt seem to do anything but sit on the opening screen and hang iOS from doing anything. If like to buy the pro version if I can get this version to work.
