Cubase iC App Reviews

The app works great, with an extremely easy set on the host computer. Also there no latency at all. That is amazing. Request for next version: include buttons for left and right locator and for setting the left and right locator. Also it would be great to have a page with several buttons to have assignable functions, as different users might have different wishes. Thank you steinberg for this great free app. I love it!

Nice job, steiny! Would love the option of looking at SMPT timecode as well as being able to jump to markers! Otherwise, nice app!!

Thanks Steinberg! I really appreciate this little tool that saves me reaching for the Mouse/Keyboard. Using a MacBook Pro as desktop replacement means that sometimes the keyboard isnt as ergonomically convenient as it could be. This app make some of the most useful controls accessible no matter where I am sitting. Of course once Id had a taste, then I wanted more! (sorry...) Perhaps buttons for L/R Locators? Double tap to set, single to jump to the locator? Some basic edit buttons ... cut. copy, paste, delete, ? A Save button? A Nudge Pallete would be awesome. A button to toggle "return to start position" or " Stop at current position" on Stop would be very welcome for me. I could go on ..... (a little MIDI keyboard?) but know Id be happy to Spend $9.99 for a Cubase iC Pro! Anybody else? Lee

Ive been looking forward to this app since they announced it! It has been everything I hoped for. This is another example of steinbergs excellent attention to their customers needs

Steinberg is once again ahead of the curve. Easy to setup and incredibly useful for recording away from the keyboard. I would definitely pay for a pro version with more features. Thanks for putting the power of Cubase in the palm of my hand!

Please add Bluetooth connectivity. I have a laptop that has Bluetooth, and is not always on wi-fi.

Is very buggy in OS 3.1. Freezes after pushing "connect" on my phone and on my friends phone.

Thanks Steinberg! More features to come and Ill be glad to pay the price tag. I already spent for my mackie controller, cc121, Frontier Transport, all dedicated to various tasks. This app. with basic features certainly fills the gaps. Looking forward to future update versions. Jean

I use this for cutting vocals all the time. Having owned the Frontier, as well as a Digi Control 24, I find this tool is less buggy than both of them, and I cant wait until they give us more in an update. I dont know how it works on SX3, but on Cubase 5 its killer!!! Excellent job Steinberg!

This is pretty neat, but generally you want wireless networking OFF when using cubase. Im sure I will use it occasionally though. Did I mention that its free?

Doesnt work with Win7 64 bit and Cubase5 64 bit. (How difficult could this be to fix Steinberg) Some of us are ready. Cmon up. :)

What I needed for vocal. Really good app

Works perfectly on my Windows 7 64 bit system running Cubase. 32 bit.

Please update for ios4 .. This is something i could really use.

Very nice and convenient addition to Cubase 5. It is very decent from Steinberg that they give this away for free!

However, it does not work with 64 bit Cubase. It has been a looong time with no fix for this. Still waiting!

You cant mix; no fader controls. You cant EQ anything. You cant control sends, or auxes, or pans...(check out AC-7Control) Not exactly what Id call a "powerful wireless remote control." This is strictly a Transport. Maybe good for what it does, but extremely limited in function.

When we can expect update?It needs update for iOS 4 and to be used for 64bit versions :(((
